The set -up. We both thought that the table looked pretty darn good! |
Stdve and Russel chat while I worry about all those long pointy things😉 |
The view of the Indian right flank. Those cavalry of mine would end up being vital. |
I had just completed the stream pieces so was keen to get them out. |
I know this looks daft but it served its purpose. A threat to be considered. |
The Macedonian advance continues. |
Steve kept his beautiful new Macedonian Army in the cupboard and brought out his old Lammings and Hinchcliffe figures for this encounter. They looked fantastic and are 43 years old! |
A stirring sight |
You can’t get alot of Indians for 130 points |
About to come down to to crunch time In the centre |
Indian longbow take the rough in the foreground |
A wonderful opportunity |
At this point I got so excited about potentially winning that I stopped taking photos. What a duffer!
Suffice to say that the Indians got up as young Steve couldn’t save a pike, veteran pike mind you, wound to...well...save himself. Always a great game with Steve and a wonderful battle with a sensational set of rules.
I don't think you needed any more photos Carlo; elephants on the flank of pikes, ouch!
ReplyDeleteLovely looking game comme d'habitude.
Outstanding visual display, Carlo!
