A bit of company while I paint...

Looking pretty comfortable there big guy!
Just a very quick post today which for myself sums up the perfect Saturday morning.

A cup of tea, a chat with the family and then upstairs for some painting on a crisp morning listening to some classical music followed by a radio coverage of some violent game in the Australia Football League.

The bride was out doing some shopping and the “Wonder Dog” came up to keep me company.

Perfect!

  1. Nice photo Carlo. I like the look your dog is giving you, as if to say "Ï'm not moving". Cheers Greg

    1. He is such incredibly good company Greg and though I still call him m y pup he is 10 years old now and the stairs are only climbed in hope of food or companionship. He is a cracker!

    1. Oscar the Wonder Dog Stew. A little beauty...though he struggles to roll very good dice!

  3. That does sound like a perfect Saturday. And a very comfortable looking "Dog".

Also intrigued by the head I can see between chairs.

  4. Under the watchful eye of an obviously highly traind security dog AND a grenadier. One cannot help but be impressed.

  5. Looks and sounds good for a Sunday morning plan! I paint in the basement, so no canine company for that, but they like to "help" me blog! :-)

    1. Its always so relaxing Peter and such an escape from the reality of quite a turbulent globe at present. I always say that the benefit of having a 19th century style hobby is exactly to deal with 21st century issues.
