Quatre Bras Part Deux

Dutch Militia on the extreme left of the allied position holding the line

The game continued on throughout the first afternoon as the lads became more acquainted with the rules and took their time making sure they did things as correctly as possible.  It’s really a great way to teach new players the intricacies of the game without the pressure of feeling that they have to complete the turn on record time.

Anyway, on with some more pictures…

    1. Certainly is Kerry. The allies have built up and not really bit damaged by the French yet.

I fear that much mayhem and carnage is soon to be visited upon your fine gaming table. Quatre Bras Part Trois to hopefully appear soon?

    1. Absolutely Peter. We had the oldest son contract Covid which was ending on the day scheduled for the return. Back next Saturday now mate.

    2. Eeeek! I hope the eldest son ... and the rest of the family ... are ok. So far we have managed to avoid the blight but that could easily change in the blink of an eye.

Whenever it happens I look forward with great interest to the ongoing struggle. The one on your fine gaming table that is! 🤣

    3. All went well Peter. No one else contracted it, Ben coped very well other than a nagging cough and runny nose and the fact he was triple vaccinated surely assisted in mitigating the effects. The game is being completed thankfully this Saturday.

  5. Brilliant set of images Carlo. The table and figures look great - a wonderul example of gaming ITGM even if not using those rules.
