This is what we wargame for folks!

The battle rages on across the tight flank

Last night was fantastic.

We played a wonderful game of To the Strongest with some lovely troops against some good friends at our brilliant Wargames club.  To top that off, it was a close run thing played in such good spirit and humour that my sides were literally aching by games end.  Brilliant fun!

As usual blogger has my photos of the night out of chronological order however best to see the action and enjoy the images.

Suffice to say it was a tough and see-sawing battle with the Gauls having the Romans on the precipice until, as is want to happen with the warrior war and style armies, the combined carnage that had accrued proved too much.  Seriously enjoyable.

    1. Thank you very much Dean. I worry sometimes that I’m the chief cheerleader for these excellent rules however they are do enjoyable whilst not losing their tactical and historical basis. My Sub- General Jeff is an accomplished published author on the classical period and he thoroughly enjoys them.

    1. Thanks Stew and believe me when I say that I’m so sympathetic to our wargaming companions abroad. We have been so fortunate in Australia and especially in Perth.
