French General and staff

The base is now securely in the wargames figure cabinet awaiting deployment sometime soon


Just a quick post today as over the weekend I finally manged to finish a command base for the 1805-07 project.  These are a wonderful set of figures from Elite Miniatures from their "Collectors" range painted for me by Nathan at Elite Miniatures Australia some time ago.

Love the ADC mounting up

Not the best photo but you can certainly see the character in the figures
Great job by Nathan painting these up

I have been working on some Austrian Command bases as well so some shots of them tomorrow I think.

    Nice group of figures Carlo. You're right Elite have a very animated nature to them. Very nice paint job and setting. They'll look great in the field!

      Great to hear from you Kevin and I haven't forgotten about those sabres btw! I really need to get my backside into gear on those. The Elites are a special figure and definitely a throwback to Connoisseur, Gilder etc. I like them very much.

      Absolutely Nathan. Always great to plug a fine figure range and you do Elite proud in Australia and New Zealand. Those figures look a treat mate and your paint job as always was superb.
