The battle rages as Cataphracts hit Deep Spearmen |
We played a most enjoyable game at the NWS at last night with 130 points a side of Sassanids taking on Eatly Byzantines. It was a great chance to introduce Phil W to the beauties of TTS and enjoy a wonderful fun game.
It was a tremendously competitive affair. The Byzantines got on top early and though the Sassanids tried valiantly to wrest the advantage back, it proved to be a bridge too far.
A highlight of the game, unless of course you happen to be this author, was a unit of veteran of scorned Indian elephants being hit on the flank by dastardly Byzantines and though hit twice, and being safe on anything but a 1 or 2, well...I’m sure you guessed the outcome.
Another wonderful nights wargaming with friends.
Carlo I love Sassanid Persians and these are great examples of them
