In pristine condition awaiting my pique of interest |
Every now again you come across something of interest which you’ve never, ever heard of.
Today was one such day.
On my way to a meeting I decided to pop into my favourite old second hand bookstore to grab a copy of Catcher in the Rye, a book I've always wanted to read but never gotten around to. After grabbing that this book featured above caught my eye.
A bit of a rundown on what to spect - very interesting |
Quite an array of theatres of war |
An example of the choices available and an immediate choice for The reader to make on what actions to take |
An accompanying map with options detailed |
This looks very interesting. It’s not like the old books we came across as kids which asked you to pick a choice and go to page 46 such as “Redcoats and Minuteman”. It does however look like a bloody good read from a chap I’m familiar with. $18 Australian dollars for a hardcover first edition - not too bad. I did notice some paperback ones available online so hopefully it will be well worthwhile.
Has anyone else come across this particular tome?
Never seen it but it looks very promising!
ReplyDeleteStarting tomorrow Peter. I’ll keep you posted.
DeleteLooks excellent Carlo - be particularly interested in the 1917 Gaza battles too. What a great little find!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brad - I’ll keep you in mind with that chapter mate.
DeleteWhat a great find. I have a funny feeling I borrowed it from the public library in about 1988!
ReplyDeleteLooks really good.
DeleteI had the same , or very similar, way back then. It was a good read. I hope you find it enjoyable
